that was like the sappiest thing I’ve ever posted on my blog in months.

Dear Whoever,

I don’t know what your name is,
nor do I know what you look like.
You could be sleeping right now,
or you could be awake…

We haven’t met yet.
(Or maybe we have)
But someday, perhaps,
we will.

The only comfort I have is knowing that
“It is not good for man to be alone.”

In the meantime…
I will hopefully be a little bit smarter for you.
a little more humble,
gracious,
thoughtful.

I’m not sure what you want,

When we meet I can finally say,
